The Thai cargo ship Mayuri Nari, bound for India, was attacked near the Strait of Hormuz. The 178-meter-long and 28-meter-wide bulk carrier departed from Dubai Anchorage and was scheduled to arrive in Kandla, Gujarat, on March 14. Around 20 crew members were on board.
