Bengal Public Safety Control, The West Bengal government has passed the ‘Bengal Public Safety and Control of Anti-Social Activities Bill, 2026’ to curb rioters and anti-social activities. Under this legislation, there is a provision for preventive detention for up to 12 months without trial to check such activities.
